Hydraulic fluid that has been specially designed according to the high requirements of Daimler. Steering gear oil 3100 can be used both in mechanical steering systems and in the power steering systems of a number of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Certain base oils and modern additive components ensure optimum viscosity and friction, extremely good protection against wear, high thermal stability and stability to aging and excellent corrosion protection. Steering gear oil 3100 also has outstanding low temperature characteristics.

Application

The instructions from the unit or automobile manufacturer must be followed. Steering gear oil 3100 is also suitable for refilling systems in which traditional ATF oils conforming to these specifications are used. Optimum effectiveness, however, is only possible when the product is used on its own (i.e. no mixing).
